The Perch Nest stands about 4’2” tall, at least a foot shorter than a typical loft bed, making it a perfect first bunk that allows for goodnight kisses and an increased sense of security. While both of its orientations fit a twin mattress (or two), it’s full of possibilities. As a loft bed with a ladder, children ages 6+ can sleep on the top bunk, with either a play space or floor-level mattress below. As a canopy bed, it's perfectly cozy and can fit an optional add-on trundle bed below. The bed's convertibility helps families make the most of one purchase, with the ability to start with one mattress and add a second over time, as a family grows, or maybe just as the need for sleepovers grows!
